Loeb wins Rally GB qualifying stage

Sebastien Loeb has won the qualifying stage for Rally GB - beating the weather and Petter Solberg by just five hundredths of a second. Loeb, who took his ninth victory in Germany last month , got through the Walters Arena stage just before a rain shower arrived in the hills just north of Swansea. The Citroen driver will now have the first choice of where to run on the road through the opening day of the event on Friday.
