Porsche to run factory GTE squad

Porsche will run a factory GTE team at Le Mans next season, in its first such programme since it won outright in 1998. Two of the new generation 'Type 991' 911s will be fielded by Porsche AG Team Manthey in both the World Endurance Championship and at Le Mans. Olaf Manthey's squad has mostly recently run Porsches in International GT Open and has won the Nurburgring 24 Hours with Porsche five times.
